Hi, I’m Mindy Honcoop — a seasoned People Leader and HR Advisor passionate about transforming workplaces.

With over 24 years of experience in HR, I’ve had the privilege of helping organizations and leaders unlock their full potential. As the founder of Agile in HR, I specialize in creating agile, human-centered workplaces that drive both employee engagement and business success.

Throughout my career, I’ve held key leadership roles at companies like Care.com, Spiceworks Ziff Davis, and Expedia. I also served as Chief People Officer at TCP Software, where I led strategic initiatives to align people strategies with business objectives and create impactful employee experiences. These experiences have equipped me with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities organizations face today.

One of my greatest passions is partnering with HR technology companies like MeBeBot to help them achieve product-market fit and long-term success. I’ve collaborated with organizations like People Tech Partners and advised several tech companies, offering insights that shape their product strategies and elevate their solutions in the competitive HR tech landscape. Whether I’m helping corporate clients optimize their HR tech stack or guiding startups on their journey, my mission is to bridge the gap between technology and the human experience.

In addition to advising, I’m deeply committed to thought leadership and knowledge sharing. I’ve authored and co-authored articles on Agile HR, Human-Centered Design, and the Future of Work, and I frequently speak at conferences, webinars, and workshops. My goal is to inspire leaders with actionable insights that drive change and innovation.

Beyond the professional sphere, I’m dedicated to making a difference through non-profit work and community building. I serve on the board of Love Justice International, co-founded the Austin Women in Agile meetup, and have played a co-leading role in reviving DisruptHR Austin. These efforts reflect my belief in the power of collaboration and shared purpose to drive meaningful impact.
